Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting a diverse range of pastry products;
  • Ensuring the quality of baked biscuits for cakes and desserts;
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of tasks performed and efficiently organizing work at the workplace;
  • Identifying irregularities and finding ways to prevent and eliminate them;
  • Performing all tasks related to shift handover and takeover;
  • Maintaining responsibility for the cleanliness, washing, and disinfection of work equipment, the workplace, tools, utensils, ensuring they are kept in proper condition;
  • Responsible for orderly documentation (consumption, write-offs, etc.);
  • Carrying out additional tasks and duties as directed by the immediate superior.

Requirements:

  • Secondary education in culinary or another relevant field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in similar or related positions;
  • Understanding and applying technologies and recipes for preparing syrups, creams, making biscuits, and semi-finished products for various types of pastry items;
  • Familiarity with methods of coloring creams, macarons, chocolates, and their application;
  • Knowledge of methods for creating chocolate decor and their application;
  • Thorough knowledge of all types of raw materials, flavoring agents, preparations, and colors used in pastry production;
  • Proficiency in Montenegrin/Serbian and/or English;
  • Demonstrates responsibility, and a systematic approach to work.
