Role summary:
to lead the delivery of exceptional guest service, oversee drink menus, and manage beverage procurement while enforcing quality standards; Strategically plan, supervise finances, and uphold safety measures, ensuring seamless bar operations and contributing valuable insights for optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the delivery of exemplary service to guests, actively engaging in communication to enhance overall service quality,
- Exercises oversight of drink menus, potential innovations, and collaborative ideation with the Food and Beverage Director,
- Facilitates the procurement of beverages while maintaining strict control over product quality,
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with wine suppliers, overseeing the acquisition and organization of wines in partnership with the sommelier,
- Conducts comprehensive training programs for bar and wine sales staff to elevate service proficiency,
- Enforces adherence to service quality standards, ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction,
- Manages the maintenance of equipment and oversees the inventory of bar supplies,
- Monitors daily financial performance, meticulously tracking revenues and expenses related to bar operations,
- Prepares insightful reports for the Food and Beverage Manager, offering valuable insights into operational metrics,
- Supervises financial transactions within the bars, encompassing invoicing, payment processing, and the management of deposit balances,
- Implements and upholds hotel staff policies, demonstrating a commitment to staff well-being, scheduling efficiency, and overall team coordination,
- Applies rigorous safety measures in both work practices and equipment usage, guaranteeing compliance with health and sanitation standards,
- Strategically plans, prepares, and executes tasks, executing additional responsibilities as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager.
Requirements:
- Secondary education lasting 3 or 4 years,
- Proficiency in Montenegrin/Serbian and English, Russian and additional languages are a strong asset,
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in similar positions,
- Possesses excellent organizational and communication skills,
- Systematic and precise,
- Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm and initiative.
